Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-21
1. Purpose
This policy describes the activities that are not permitted on the Klyrix platform. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service and applies to all customers, administrators, and end-users.
2. Prohibited uses
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Illegal content | CSAM, terrorism content, content that infringes copyright or other intellectual-property rights, content unlawful in the customer's or Klyrix's jurisdiction. |
| Spam, phishing, fraud | Bulk unsolicited email, credential-harvesting sites, identity theft, payment fraud. |
| Malware / unauthorised security testing | Distribution of malware, ransomware, exploit kits, unauthorised penetration testing, hacking tools used against third parties without permission. |
| Crypto-mining on shared infrastructure | Running cryptocurrency mining workloads on Klyrix-managed shared infrastructure (the management layer). Customer-owned cloud infrastructure remains under the customer's policies. |
| Sanctions evasion | Routing traffic to evade OFAC, UAE Central Bank, EU, UK, or UN sanctions; facilitating access from comprehensively-sanctioned regions. |
| Excessive resource consumption | Sustained API usage well beyond plan limits, repeated failed authentication brute-forcing, denial-of-service against Klyrix or third parties. |
| Reverse engineering / scraping | Reverse engineering the Klyrix platform, decompiling our software, scraping our control plane, or circumventing rate limits. |
| Impersonation | Pretending to be another person, organisation, or Klyrix staff in support tickets, abuse reports, or platform content. |
3. Sanctions compliance
Klyrix screens accounts and traffic against the U.S. OFAC SDN list, the UAE Central Bank sanctions list, and equivalent EU / UK / UN regimes. Access from comprehensively-sanctioned regions — currently Iran, Syria, North Korea, Cuba, Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk — is blocked at the network edge with an HTTP 451 response.
Customers must not knowingly facilitate access to the platform from these regions for sanctioned persons or entities. Suspected false positives may appeal at /sanctions-appeal.
4. Enforcement
- Investigation — we review reports and platform telemetry. Where possible we contact the customer administrator first.
- Warning + 24-hour cure window for non-severe violations.
- Suspension of the affected feature, workspace, or account where the violation is severe or unresolved.
- Termination of the agreement for repeated or egregious violations, per the Terms.
- Cooperation with law enforcement on receipt of a binding legal order.
5. Reporting abuse
Report suspected violations to abuse@klyrix.com. Provide the URL or workspace identifier, a description of the issue, and any supporting evidence. We acknowledge abuse reports within two business days.
